Live Stream for Your Podcast Questions August 9th

Happy Friday! At least it's Friday when I wrote this. :)

Just a quick one, to let you know I'm hosting a live stream on Saturday August 9th at 9.30am Pacific / 12.30pm Eastern / 5.30pm UK time. This is a bi-monthly live stream where I'll be answering any questions you have about podcasting - getting started, gear, software, hardware, growing your show, understanding data, and much more. Basically, any question you have, I'll be here to answer it (and if I don't know the answer, I'll find out from someone who does and reply in the following live stream).

This is a transition from my audio-first podcast, One Minute Podcast Tips, and it allows me to be much more interactive and effective at answering the specific questions you have for your show. To make sure you don't miss it, click below to set a reminder.

I'm really looking forward to this - while I'm not a "video podcaster", I do enjoy live streams and the interaction and fun that comes with them, so I hope to see you there!

On a slightly different tangent, I'm super proud to announce my 5 Random Questions podcast has been nominated for "Best Interview Podcast" and "Best Indie Podcast of the Year" in the 2025 Ear Worthy Podcast Awards. As an indie creator who does everything myself, from research to production to promoting and all the other good stuff that makes a podcast, this is lovely recognition from one of the most respected platforms in the industry. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, August 26th.

If you haven't checked out 5 Random Questions yet - described as "If Hot Ones and WTF with Marc Maron had a podcast baby, this would be it" - you can do that below.

Have a great weekend, and I hope to see you on the live stream in just over a week!

Until the next time, happy podcasting.

The Be a Better Podcaster newsletter will forever be free, but if you enjoy the tips and get value from them you can support me with an amount of your choosing. Thanks so much!
